No guarantee this is correct, but as far as I've seen its very close.

32.79 Hit Rating = 1% hit (80) Melee
26.23 Hit Rating = 1% hit (80) Caster

9% for 2H/MH (7% for PVP/Special Abilities)
28% for DW
17% for Casters (4% for PVP/Special Abilities)

"Chance to hit: A long time ago, some guys who are really smart at math managed to prove that the biggest return on their DPS stats comes from increasing your chance to hit if you are not already capped. As a raid tank, you need at least +8% chance to hit to eliminate misses. This translates into 264 hit rating, unless you're a Dranei or grouped with one, in which case you only need +7% chance to hit."

It is approx. 26.23199272 hit rating per 1% hit chance. Lets just round that off to 26.25 for the sake of 'nicer' numbers.

17% hit = 446.25 hit rating. We can get 7% chance to hit on bosses if we use Imp FF and BoP
07% hit = 183.75 hit rating
